Since the end of 2006 when the Israeli government gave the design to work on the wall on the south Bethlehem area, we in Alshmoh Cultural center saw how much the life of the people will be difficult if this wall built on the land of the farmers so we did the following:-
1) Alshmoh center organize the first meeting with the farmers, Local councils and associations of the south villages and forming the POPULAR COMMUNITY AGAINST THE WALL.
2) Weekly meetings of the popular community which is represented mainly from the members of Alshmoh center.
3) Starting the activities against the wall at the end of November 2006 as a reaction of the solders action from destroying the fields of grapes and olive.
4) Putting the strategy for the popular community in resisting the wall which is mainly NONVIOLENT resistance.
5) Alshmoh center established 55 demonstration against the wall each of them carry different title which represent national occasion or national one for example: The independent day of the Palestinian state on the 15th of November , the land day in 30 of March , the prisoners day on the 17th of April , the mother day on 21 of March, the workers day on the 1st of May , the 13th of July the French revolution, the 9th of August which represent the memory of Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan, and many other occasions.

Since the moment that we start our demo we asked our selves some questions and we must find answer to them
1)How to continue until we achieve our goals ?
2)How we will be able to mobilize people to participate in such new model of resistance?
3)How we will be able to create real leaders for such model ?
The answer for all of the above questions was by doing the following activities
A) A series of workshops was established by Alshmoh center in order to put short term goals and long term goals for our demo by experience people in such model
B) Showing many films about the nonviolent resistance all over the world and even in Palestine which achieved the short term goals from its demo like what happened in South Africa, Serbia , and even in Bel'in village in Palestine
C) Many lecture with the coordination between Alshmoh Center and the Palestinian universities have been done in the field of nonviolent resistance
D) Organizing trips to many Places in Palestine to show the people the effects of the wall on that place's
E) Establishing workshops about the methods of resisting the wall and how to push the solders to use violence and how to keep quit at the same time of the solders violence , also trying to touch the feeling of the solders in order to change something in their behavior and we manage some time in that but the officers change the solders
The result that we reach (( using nonviolent resistance means won all the time because if the solders didn't use violence against us then you will be able to pass your massage , on the other hand if they use violence against us then they will show how much they are weak in front of civilians and then you will get good media action ))
